Ford Beehive Enclosures
Tedson Industries, Inc. was selected to fabricate 7' beehive enclosures for Ford Motor Company. The Ford Bees design contest winner, Chris Westfall, designed an exterior housing for standard Langstroth beehives. Tedson CNC milled molds, layed up parts, finished, painted, and assembled the (6) beehive enclosures and delivered them to their final location outside of the Ford World Headquarters.

Maserati Medallion Displays
Tedson Industries, Inc. was chosen to produce a number 18' tall Maserati medallion display assemblies. These displays were CNC cut, finished, and painted to resemble the characteristics of a metal casting. The medallions were later updated to mark the 100 year anniversary of the Maserati brand. Shell NCOC Sensabot Model
Tedson Industries, Inc. produced a scale model NCOC Sensabot for Shell Global Solutions. The SLA model was 3D-printed at 30% scale and given a show-quality paint finish. The wheels and articulating arm are fully functional.
The Sensabot is "a remotely-operated mobile robot remotely inspects and monitors industrial facilities. It is designed to carry out on-site inspections in hazardous environments, isolated facilities, and other places that are difficult or dangerous for personnel to access. NVIDIA DRIVE CX Display
Tedson Industries, Inc. produced two NVIDIA DRIVE CX displays for their showing at the 2016 CES (Consumers Electronics Show). One display was used in the general show, and the other was used for the press unveiling of DRIVE CX, which "is a complete platform for the digital cockpit that enables advanced 3D navigation and infotainment, high-resolution digital instrument clusters, natural speech processing, and surround vision." Ford Design Sailboat
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was a sailboat, designed by Russell Sims. The body of the sailboat was CNC cut from rigid foam in an aerodynamic, teardrop shape. The body was finished with black, high gloss paint with blue accents. The sail consists of ABS plastic components and a polished carbon fiber mast. ABS was also used to construct the two stands. Ford Design Foosball Table
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was a foosball table, designed by Rafael Rego. The arena frame consists of molded fiberglass, which is topped by a formed acrylic dome. Cast urethane players are suspended on aluminum bars. For the model, the idea of real grass is simulated by artificial turf, complete with painted boundary lines. Ford Design Lowboy Armchair
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was an armchair designed by Dean Bakker. The chair consists of two pieces, the main body of the chair and the supporting leg. The body was CNC cut from a foam material and then wrapped with leather. The leg was milled from wood, into which we installed an audio port and a USB port. Ford Design Table
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was a table, designed by Ryan Welch. The aluminum frame was bent and molded into position by hand, while the solid wood core was CNC cut. Ford Design Suspension Light
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was a suspension light designed by Damian Nygaard. The light consists of a lightweight aluminum body, which is supported by aluminum tubing. Ford Design Speaker
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted to fabricate six Ford Design objects, which were displayed at the 2015 Salone del Mobile furniture and fashion design show in Milan, Italy. One of the six objects we produced was a speaker, designed by Ali Zulfiqar. The speaker body was CNC cut and wrapped with leather. A metal speaker mesh was fabricated and installed onto the body, and the piece was finished with aluminum trim. Goon Squad Equipment Cart
Tedson Industries, Inc. built a one of a kind equipment cart for a high school robotics team. The Goon Squad, team #3604, is a robotics team from Woodhaven High School in Brownstown, Michigan. This cart allows for easier transportation of robots and any required gear to and from competitions. With custom graphics and flashing multi-colored lights, the team is sure to make an entrance. Sudbury Test Turbine Array
Tedson Industries, Inc. produced a prototype test turbine array. The array was fabricated from the ground up, with all of the various components fabricated on-site. At approximately 25', this project was taller than our facility and required outdoor assembly. The array was then disassembled and shipped to Sudbury, Ontario, Canada for on-site testing at a nickel mine. View the video below to see the turbine in motion!

Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition
Tedson Industries, Inc. was contracted produce three Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition vehicles. These vehicles, designed by fashion designer John Varvatos, were featured in the 2013 North American International Auto Show. Much effort went into modifying the Chrysler 300C vehicles into the three Varvatos models, from trim work and tinting to vinyl application and badge fabrication.

Chrysler 300 GOTHAM Limited Edition
Tedson Industries, Inc. was selected to modify a Chrysler 300 vehicle as a promotion for the film The Dark Knight Rises - which is the focus of this Chrysler commercial. We modified this vehicle a second time, in which we gave the vehicle upgraded touches like brushed steel wraps, lamp tinting, and additional bat logos. Special pieces were installed on these vehicles, such as machine gun exhaust tips and retractable darts within the front fender.
